Daniel’s Blessin‍‍‍g mission is to educate and prepare our children today for a better tomorrow. Daniel’s Blessing not only supports our children locally but travels across the water to Haiti to assist children in their education from Pre-K to College. We have been traveling to Haiti since 2010 after the earthquake that took the lives of over 250,000 people and left a country devastated. To receive quantity education in Haiti there is a cost, children are required to wear uniforms, bring their own lunch, schools do not provide meals due to a lack of funds, very limited school supplies and many children cannot attend school due to a lack of funds. We meet children where they are and supply what is needed for them to be an asset to their families and communities.

In Hampton Roads our Youth Advancement Program consisted of young girls – (Powerful Pearls) attended the 6-month program where professionals volunteered their time to discuss with the girls in the areas of: Communication, Social Skills, Finance, Health, Entrepreneurship, Self-Esteem and Creative Arts. We also attended the performance of The Alvin Ailey Dancers at Chrysler Hall. We also provide mentorship and participate in community outreach programs. Our goal this year is to continue to provide for the children of Haiti with school supplies, pay tuition and provide 4 one-year scholarships to High School Graduates in Haiti and scholarships for 10 students to attend our Youth Advancement Program
